Our waiter Bohdi was amazing! He was really attentive and made sure we were satisfied the whole night. He kept coming over to check in on us which I really really appreciate. The food was really good, lots of quality meats to choose from. Highly recommend, and I can't wait to come back!

Visited here for Father's Day about 30 minutes after opening. The restaurant was relatively quiet, with less than a third of the tables occupied. Things started off awkwardly when our initial server told us that she didn't care how much we ordered as long as we finished everything or we'd be charged extra. While I understand restaurants have policies regarding food waste, the way it was communicated felt unnecessarily harsh and came across as if we were being scolded rather than welcomed as guests. After placing our order, it took about 30 minutes for our first round of meat to arrive. What made the wait more frustrating was that the restaurant still wasn't very busy, and tables seated near us after we arrived were already receiving their second rounds of meat. When I asked about our order, the server simply walked by and said it was coming "any second now" without really acknowledging the concern. It still took another 5–7 minutes to arrive. Overall, the service from her felt disengaged and unwelcoming. Fortunately, another server took over our table later in the meal. He was friendly, attentive, and professional. We celebrated my daughter’s 9th birthday here. It was the happiest I had seen her in a very long time. She truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the birthday celebration song, and the gong! We came here at her request because they really go out of their way to make my kiddos feel special. We will continue to come here as often as we can to support such a great and yummy restaurant!

Visited Gyu Kaku Japanese BBQ after a buddy recommended it as a solid Japanese barbecue spot. It was my first time here and even on a random Wednesday night the place was packed, which felt like a good sign. The wait was a bit long but understandable given how busy it was. The menu is huge with a lot of options. They offer different dining packages and we went with the Ultimate option. Our server recommended the filet, ribeye, sirloin, Kobe beef, pork fat, and beef tongue. You can absolutely tell the meat quality is high end. Everything had great flavor and the Japanese barbecue style really shines since you can control the cook and get a perfect sear with medium rare bites. The beef tongue ended up being our favorite, especially paired with rice and sauce. Edamame was solid and the cheesy corn was a nice comfort side. Overall the food quality was excellent and clearly premium. That said, the price is steep. Expect around sixty five to eighty five dollars per person, and you are limited to about an hour and a half. I think they will get 5 stars if they use better quality rice. Their customer service was amazing👏 Orlando took care of our table good. The salad was delicious, Karaage was hot and juicy. We ordered Meat Lover course, we couldn't finish to eat all the meat, so I grilled all and brought them home.
